How to invest in insurance

Another special feature for you today.

Recently Charlie Morris – investment director of The Fleet Street Letter – sat down with Nick Martin of Polar Capital’s Global Insurance Fund.

It’s a fund that has performed extremely well for Charlie this year. So Charlie asked Nick to explain in more detail exactly why that is. Among other things, they discuss how insurance firms make their money; how to understand which firms are more likely to make great returns for shareholders; and how the best firms manage underlying risk in their portfolio.

It’s a fascinating introduction to an industry many people write off. I thought it’d be well worth half an hour of your time to watch.

Until next time,
