Watch now: an impromptu round table at Southbank Investment Research

It’s a rare occasion in the office when several of our editors are around at once, and I wasn’t going to let it go to waste.

Eoin Treacy and Sam Volkering, who spend their working lives analysing the future of technology…

James Allen and Kit Winder, who monitor the energy markets…

And myself and Nickolai Hubble, who try to join the dots in the macro world, all in one place.

There wasn’t room for us all in our studio, so I bundled them into the boardroom for an impromptu round table to discuss the potential invasion of Taiwan by China, the Saudi oil attack, the recent sightings of UFOs… and much more.

The lighting wasn’t great in there as the weather kept changing (we even got a thunderstorm at the end), but I hope you enjoy it – I reckon there’s something in there for every investor.

Have a great weekend!

All the best,
