Under surveillance

Long-time readers of Southbank Investment Research will remember Dan Denning, our erstwhile publisher and the former writer of this very letter.

Dan was back in town recently, having been on adventure all around the globe looking for “boltholes” where liberty and prosperity still exist, free from government and the “surveillance capitalism” of the Silicon Valley barons. His mission also had a darker purpose – to find areas of civilisation so deep in the bush they’ll be immune to the fallout of the next financial crisis…

I wanted to speak to him about what he found out there, and to get his take on all the financial and geopolitical theatre we see unfolding around us. Knowing how valuable his insight is, I made sure we got the conversation on camera so I could share it with you. If you’re familiar with Dan’s work already, or are a newer subscriber, I hope you enjoy it – I know I did.

I’ll be back with part II tomorrow.

Until tomorrow,
