An untold fortune at the final frontier

ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND – You won’t come across something like this every day. Of that, I’m almost certain.

Here at Southbank Investment Research, the editorial team like to do a lot of reading – especially on fringe financial subjects which may come to the fore in the future. We often send each other reading recommendations – documents, articles, books and the like to challenge each other’s views on markets.

As so much of our reading ends up inspiring our writing, we thought we may as well “cut out the middleman” and just tell you about some of the books we’ve found particularly thought-provoking – and if possible, introduce you to the men and women who wrote them.

That’s the foundation of a little project we’ve been working on called The 12. The idea is to find the top 12 books a year which will help shrewd investors stay ahead of the curve – and get the authors on the line to discuss the subject matter in detail.

And this most recent episode is a doozy: my colleague Nickolai Hubble is calling this book “downright life-changing” and is waxing lyrical about his discussion with the author.

The subject matter? It’s pretty “far out”, to say the least… but the opportunities for investors could be enormous.

It’s about the fortunes that will be made on the final frontier… in space mining (and manufacturing).

Nickolai got Davide Sivolella, the author of the suitably titled Space Mining and Manufacturing on the line to discuss the opportunity which space represents for investors in the latest episode of the The 12. I hope you enjoy it – you’re in for a ride…

All the best,
